At this point, I felt something was missing, so I added some chinese herbal cough syrup on the wires to make them *bloodier* (te-he), and that did the trick! So that's the process for coming up with the cover. We felt that the images were strong enough on their own that we chose to use a deliberately simple layout, presenting the images more like a book of art. Here is one shot of what I guess is the stalk of the flower. It shows the detail that went on even if you don't see it in the final images.
